Nine Herbs Charm is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary artist collective consisting of core members Hannah Mjølsnes, Eric Kim and Saewon Oh. 

Mugworts is often found growing in the disturbed soil close to construction sites and pavements. It is a plant that inhabits the in-between spaces and edges of our cities. Mugwort is a medicinal herb and can promote our ability to dream, and was used as an herb for divination and protection in ancient cultures.

The 10th-century poem, the “Nine Herbs Charm”, describes nine wild herbs that are now on the verge of being forgotten. These plants tend to grow around us, but without us taking notice. The project explores these plants one by one, and for the sessions at Gallery Kronborg, Mugwort is presented and served by the artists Hannah Mjølsnes and Petra Dahlstrom.
