UNTITLED (GIRL IN PINK
TRACKSUIT ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN)
Performance, photography, paper, board.
My work is material based mainly within textile, analog photography and text. I need tactility, work in relation to the body, practicality and potential for transformation and movement. I work directly with my material, and explore energies that emerges in the moment. Intuition and spontaneity let the body speak and think. Every action lets ground for a new experience.
My phone is full of notes and ideas that sounded great the second I wrote them (in the middle of the street, on my way somewhere) Now, reading them, transferring the words from phone to paper, from paper to computer, my Notes to Self evoke confusion and doubt. What then sounded so logical has lost its importance, but is still part of.
For Gallery Kronborg I explore the dynamic between walking, moving and thinking, and the effect movement has on the mind.
