Focused on the Feminine archetype of Persephone, the Goddess of our deeper soul, of adaptability, of trusting life and our own ability to handle whatever happens, the work of Anne Mourier at Galleri Kronborg is a narration presented by the means of a series of giant seeds of pomegranate in Murano glass and a large photography printed on fabric. Inspired by a pandemic that halted the pace of our world and an environmental crisis that is ushering a sense of doom, Persephone is allowing us to become more familiar with and less scared of the underworld, and allowing us to reconnect to the idea of life cycles and the seasons.
